The HPC converted to J1772, approximately equivalent to a Clipper Creek CS-90. Doing this voids the UL certification, even though all the parts are individually UL approved. Note that none of the HPWCs delivered before summer of 2010 were UL certified, ours included, so in our case nothing was lost.
