Removing the JVC Head Unit from a 2008 Roadster

This photo gallery shows how we removed the JVC from our 2008 Tesla Roadster. This may be useful for anyone needing to remove the unit for service or replacement.

The back of the unit, still wired into the car. Most of the connections (power, speakers, etc.) are made with the big connector shown on the left here. The cable that connects on the right side runs to the external components behind the driver side console piece. The lone green wire is the speed sensor, which tends to fall out when removing the unit. The GPS antenna is attached with the gray connector. The standard antenna connection is shown behind the other wires.
